ภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในการ "การตอบรับคำเชิญ" และ "การปฏิเสธคำเชิญ"

                       การตอบรับคำเชิญและการปฏิเสธคำเชิญในภาษาอังกฤษนั้น มีหลายประโยคให้เลือกใช้ตามสถานการณ์นะคะ เช่น งานแต่ง งานปาร์ตี้ที่เพื่อนจัด และยังวิธีตอบเมื่อเรายังไม่ค่อยแน่ใจว่าจะไปงานหรือไม่ อีกด้วย มาดูกันว่าเราจะพูดยังไงได้บ้าง

มั่นใจแล้วว่าไปแน่ๆ
Step 1 พูดขอบคุณหรือดีใจที่ชวน ลองเลือกประโยคเหล่านี้ไปใช้นะคะ
- Thank you. ขอบคุณ
- Thanks for the invitation. ขอบคุณที่เชิญ
- That is so kind of you. คุณใจดีจัง
- Thanks for thinking of us. ขอบคุณที่นึกถึงเรา
- That sounds great. เยี่ยมไปเลย
- How wonderful! สุดยอดเลย!
- Awesome! เจ๋งไปเลย!
- How fun! น่าสนุกจัง!

Step 2 ถ้าเราตั้งใจแน่ๆ แล้วว่าจะไป
- We will be there. พวกเราจะไปที่นั่น (หรือจะบอกไปเลยว่าใครไปกับเราบ้าง ถ้าเค้าเชิญคนสนิทเราด้วย ตัวอย่าง: John and I will be there. หรือ the kids and I will be there)
- We can’t wait. เราอดใจรอที่จะไปไม่ไหวแล้ว
- Count me in. นับฉันเข้าไปด้วยนะ เป็นสำนวนของ "ฉันอยากร่วมงานนั้นด้วย"
- Wouldn’t miss it! จะไม่พลาดงานนี้เด็ดขาด!
- Absolutely! ไปแน่นอน!
- I’ll be there for sure. ฉันไปงานแน่นอน
- I’d love to come. ฉันอยากไปงานนั้น
- I’m in/ I’m down/ Sure thing (Casual)** ฉันไปแน่, ฉันเข้าร่วมงานด้วย (ใช้กับเพื่อนหรือคนสนิทเท่านั้น)

Step 3 การคอนเฟิร์มเข้าร่วม
- So we will see you on the 10th then. งั้นเราจะไปเจอคุณวันที่ 10 นะ
- We look forward to seeing you there. เราตั้งหน้าตั้งรอที่จะเจอคุณที่นั่น
- How lovely! I can’t wait. เริ่ดมาก ฉันแทบรอไม่ไหวแล้ว
- It is going to be great! มันต้องสนุกมากแน่ๆ
- What would you like us to bring? เธออยากให้ฉันถืออะไรไปด้วยมั้ย

Step 1 พูดขอบคุณที่ชวนก่อน

- Thanks for thinking of us. ขอบคุณที่นึกถึงเรา
- That sounds great. เยี่ยมไปเลย

Step 2 วิธีการตอบรับแบบสุภาพ เมื่อไม่ค่อยมั่นใจว่าไปได้มั้ย
- I’m not sure whether I can but I’ll check my calendar and let you know. ฉันไม่มั่นใจว่าจะไปได้หรือไม่ได้ แต่ฉันจะเช็กตารางก่อนแล้วจะแจ้งคุณนะ
- Perhaps I can make it. Let me check my calendar. บางทีฉันอาจจะไปได้นะ ฉันขอเช็กตารางดูอีกที
- Perhaps I can reschedule something. I will see what I can do. บางทีฉันจะลองทำตารางนัดอีกรอบ นี่คือสิ่งที่ฉันทำได้นะ

Step 2 ขอโทษที่ไปไม่ได้ (ต่อจากการพูดขอบคุณ)
- But I am not able to make it/But I am not able to come. แต่ฉันไม่ว่างเลย
- But I’m sorry, I’m afraid we can’t make it. แต่ฉันขอโทษนะ ฉันเกรงว่าจะไปไม่ได้
- Unfortunately, I already have plans. เสียดายจัง ฉันมีนัดแล้วด้วยสิ
- I would love to come but… ฉันอยากไปนะ แต่...
- That sounds fabulous but… ดูน่าเหลือเชื่อจริงๆ แต่...
- I wish I could join you but… ฉันหวังว่าฉันจะไปได้ แต่...
- I am so sorry we can’t make it… ฉันขอโทษนะ เราไปไม่ได้จริงๆ
- It is a shame we can’t be there… แย่จังที่เราไปไม่ได้
- I am disappointed that I can’t make it… ฉันมีนัดแล้วเลยไปไม่ได้
- That would have been wonderful, so sorry we can’t be there. มันน่าสนุกมากเลย แต่ขอโทษที่เราไปไม่ได้นะ

Step 3 หลังจากขอโทษแล้วก็ให้เหตุผลที่ตรงประเด็น ว่าทำไมถึงไปไม่ได้
- It is my sister’s birthday that day. มันตรงกับวันเกิดน้องฉันพอดี
- The children have a school event we have to attend. ลูกฉันมีงานโรงเรียน แล้วเราต้องเข้าร่วมในวันนั้นพอดี
- We will be away on vacation then. เราจะไปพักร้อนในวันนั้นพอดี
- We have a prior engagement. เราติดธุระอื่น
- We already have plans. เรามีแพลนอื่นแล้ว
- We have a clash in our schedule. มันชนกับงานอื่นของเราในตารางเลย

Step 4 การปิดประโยคเจ๋งๆ
- I hope it goes well. ฉันหวังว่ามันต้องออกมาดีแน่ๆ
- We will be thinking of you. เราจะคิดถึงคุณนะ
- Enjoy it! ขอให้สนุกนะ
- We will make it up to you another day. เรานัดกันวันอื่นนะ
- I would love to catch up another time. ฉันสามารถมาเจอคุณเวลาอื่นได้นะ
- How about another time? ถ้าเป็นเวลาอื่นล่ะ?
